Responsibilities:
- Supports & assists the Pharmacist in the medication use process by providing safe and efficient medication management & patient care to patients (neonate to geriatric), physicians, employees, and the public.
- Requires following appropriate guidelines under the supervision of the pharmacist for medication preparation and distribution.
- Functions in an environment which requires teamwork and flexibility to provide medications to patients.
- Responsibilities include IV admixture, assisting the pharmacist with the dispensing of medication, working with technology, and deliveries of medications.
Tuition assistance is available for those who qualify to obtain a pharmacy certification through a regionally accredited program.

Qualifications
Required:
- Must obtain Pharmacy Tech (PHT)(state) or Pharmacy Intern (PHI)(State) within 30 days of hire if no prior technician experience. Must have Pharmacy Tech (PHT)(State) or Pharmacy Intern (PHI)(State) at hire if experienced as a pharmacy technician.
Desired:
- 1 year experience working in pharmacy.
