Responsibilities
The Non-Invasive Vascular tech is trained in vascular physiology and non-invasive techniques, is responsible for performing non-invasive test procedures on patients to evaluate for peripheral vascular disease, functions as a member of the hospital team. Demonstrates clinical proficiency in the care of patients relative to their vascular testing, medical diagnoses, nursing interventions, required vascular assessments, age specific requirements. The employee uses the technical process, CQI process, and hospital and community resources to plan direct patient care, demonstrates clinical competency in all modalities of vascular testing. The employee uses department and hospital wide policies procedures during the provision of patient care, is accountable for improving job knowledge and skills.
**This is a WOW (Work on Weekends) position. Schedules for WOW employees include working every Saturday & Sunday. Employees in designated WOW positions earn premium pay in addition to their competitive hourly rates and shift differential**

Qualifications
Required:
- Diploma
- One of: RVS or RVT or ARRT (VS)
Desired:
- One year in vascular testing
- Registered Vascular Specialist OR Registered Vascular Technologist OR Vascular Sonography Technologist
