Performance Excellence Manager, Quality Management

This position leads and manages multi-disciplinary workgroups, using proven Performance Excellence methodologies (Lean/Six Sigma DMAIC), to ensure clinical and/or operation effectiveness are improved. The position serves as a manager between project team members to promote standardization of structures, processes, materials, education, and support throughout the organization. The role is directly accountable to the success of projects, leading team members to execute and operationalize improvements for their departments, and coaching others on the DMAIC Performance Excellence methodology. The Performance Excellence Manager will directly report their management success to the System Director, Performance Excellence and to the area executive leader. This position is a key leader in Norton Healthcare’s Performance Excellence Network and will continually seek to add value to the care provided to our patients through excellent outcomes, safety, and service at the lowest possible cost – driving the value equation (the value equation is delivering best possible care and outcomes at the lowest possible cost).

Required:

• Completion of the admin fellow program or one year experience in process improvement, program management or quality management 
• Bachelor's Degree

Desired:

• Three years of experience in process improvement, program management or quality management
• Master's Degree
• Lean Certification OR Project Management Professional OR Norton Healthcare Lean-Six Sigma Certified Black Belt OR Norton Healthcare Lean-Six Sigma Certified Green Belt
