Responsibilities
The Registration Rep/PCA ensures smooth operation of all processes within the department. Responsibilities surround administrative and basic clinical tasks in an outpatient medical office setting. Administrative duties may include answering telephones, greeting patients, scheduling appointments, maintaining all medical records (written/electronic), and the entering/submission of documents for insurance purposes. Clinical duties may include taking and recording vital signs and medical histories, preparing patients for examination by physician. All responsibilities mist be performed and processed in a timely manner. This position must demonstrate competence and use age appropriate skills for patient's ages, adolescent through geriatric. The Registration Rep/PCA must possess working knowledge of computers, medical terminology, sleep medicine procedures and advanced organizational skills
Qualifications
