Responsibilities
The Respiratory Apprentice is responsible for applying knowledge gained in Respiratory Explorer level to a specific area. This hands on student position is responsible for respiratory therapy equipment assembly, cleaning, and maintenance. The Apprentice is able to assist with patient EKG, transport, and department oxygen tank management as well as other assistive tasks as designated by the KBRC. BLS Required.
Qualifications
Required:
- Currently enrolled in a Respiratory Therapy Program, CoARC Accredited and completion of the Respiratory explorer level
