Responsibilities
The Security Risk and Compliance Specialist will identify and resolve potential areas of compliance, vulnerability and risk through corrective action plans. This role will lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of technology that supports the organizations I.S. Security Program. This role reviews and evaluates industry technology, standards and best practices to create plans to ensure information is secure. The Security Risk and Compliance Specialist will perform various audits and assessments to insure Norton Healthcare maintains effective Information Services compliance. This role will assist in promoting compliance, creating security awareness, and understanding new and existing compliance issues (i.e. HIPAA and other regulatory issues) and related policies and procedures. The Security Risk and Compliance Specialist works with other Information Services (IS) teams to insure the environment is secure.
**This is a WOW (Work on Weekends) position. Schedules for WOW employees include working every Saturday & Sunday. Employees in designated WOW positions earn premium pay in addition to their competitive hourly rates and shift differential**

Qualifications
Required:
- With Required Degree: Three years in Information Security, monitoring, auditing, and remediating security events, Without Required Degree: Seven years in Information Security, monitoring, auditing, and remediating security events
- Bachelor Degree
Desired:
- Certified Information Systems Auditor OR Certified Information Security Manager OR Certified Information Systems Security Professional OR Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control
