The Paralegal will support the attorneys in the International Corporate Group and is based in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate is an ambitious, self-motivated individual with an interest in the legal profession. The paralegal will be in the office most days (5 days per week).

Employees are entitled to compensation commensurate with skill and experience. The full time base annual salary for this position in the Washington, DC market is expected to range between $50,000 and $55,000. This range represents the firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting for a position in Washington, DC. Salaries in other markets will vary depending on market data. Bonus opportunities are non-guaranteed and are dependent upon individual and firm performance.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide administrative support for a variety of projects, almost entirely internationally focused
- Draft various communications (extensive writing required)
- Proofread documents
- Other administrative and paralegal projects as assigned; no two days are alike
- Possible legal research
- Additional responsibilities or special projects, as requested

Qualifications:
- Must take pride in attention to detail
- Excellent reading/writing/research ability
- Ability to work well under time pressure, balancing multiple projects and requests
- Desire to take initiative; be highly proactive
- Comfort with working week-night overtime; possible/occasional weekend work
- Exercises confidentiality and discretion
- Ability to learn and understand basic firm principles
