Job Title : Registered Nurse - Telemetry

License : Registered Nurse

Must-Have : Ability to read telemetry strips
Job Description :
- Work in an orthopedic and spine adult unit with 32 beds.
- Manage a patient ratio of 6 : 1.
- Perform IV insertions, blood draws, and manage PICC / Central Lines.
- Handle CPAP / BiPAP and provide trach care.
- Conduct peritoneal dialysis, manage epidural / PCA pumps, and feeding tubes.
- Perform continuous bladder irrigation and manage wound vacs.
- Administer common med / surg level medications, pain medications, and insulin.
- Utilize walkers, gait belts, and ambulation aides for patient mobility.
- Charting in EPIC system.
- Self-scheduling opportunities available.
- Wear Galaxy Blue scrubs.
This role does not require medication titration. An orthopedic / spine APRN is available daily for questions. The unit is supported by a fully staffed ANM team.
