We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Charge Nurse to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate nursing staff to ensure efficient patient care delivery.
- Conduct assessments of patients’ conditions and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Provide guidance and support to nursing staff in clinical decision-making.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems such as Athenahealth.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards of practice.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management.
- Assist in training new staff members on protocols and procedures.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license required; Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
- Experience working with children, dementia care, or individuals with disabilities is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in IV insertion and coding is advantageous.
- Previous experience in a nursing home or critical care setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with Level I Trauma Center operations is a plus.
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills are essential.
