LPN Charge Nurse

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Charge Nurse to join our healthcare team. The Charge Nurse will play a crucial role in overseeing patient care, managing nursing staff, and ensuring that the highest standards of care are met. Duties

• Supervise and coordinate nursing staff to ensure efficient patient care delivery.
• Conduct assessments of patients’ conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Provide guidance and support to nursing staff in clinical decision-making.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems such as Athenahealth.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards of practice.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management.
• Assist in training new staff members on protocols and procedures.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license required; Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• Experience working with children, dementia care, or individuals with disabilities is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in IV insertion and coding is advantageous.
• Previous experience in a nursing home or critical care setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with Level I Trauma Center operations is a plus.
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills are essential.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

Pay: $29.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week
