Norwalk Chiropractic is seeking a motivated and dedicated Entry Level Rehab and Chiropractic Assistant to join our team in Norwalk, Iowa. As an integral part of our clinic, you will support our chiropractic and rehabilitation professionals in providing exceptional patient care. This role offers a great opportunity for those interested in the fields of chiropractic and physical rehabilitation to gain valuable experience. This is not a front desk/admin position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist chiropractors and physical therapists in the delivery of patient care.
- Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for patient appointments.
- Greet and check in patients, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
- Escort patients to the treatment area and assist with initial assessments.
- Perform administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records.
- Maintain a clean and organized clinic environment, including regular cleaning and sterilization of equipment.
- Monitor and assist with patient exercises and therapies under the guidance of licensed professionals.
- Educate patients on exercise routines and home care instructions.
- Handle front desk duties, including answering phones, managing appointments, and processing payments.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure a seamless patient experience.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassionate and caring attitude towards patients.
- Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions.
- Basic computer skills for administrative tasks.
- Interest in the chiropractic and rehabilitation field.
