Job Summary:
Norwalk Community Health Center (NCHC) is currently seeking a dynamic full-time Medical Assistant to become the School Based Health Administrative Assistant at our Ponus/Concord Magnet School Based Health & Wellness Center.
This position is full time 8am-4:30pm Monday-Friday and will follow the annual Norwalk Public School schedule for the designated service location for closures.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Complete registration and eligibility for all patients accessing services
- Receive strong clinical support services and work in an innovative School-Based health system
- Be part of a multi-disciplinary practice that offers a blend of individual and population based care
- Support families to complete physicals, sports physicals, and primary care services.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Works well with Behavioral Health services and integrated care model
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of School Based Health Center systems and relationship development
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Education and Experience:
- Medical Assistant Certification
- Bi-Lingual Skills English/Spanish preferred but not required
