SUMMARY:
Norwest Contractors is seeking to fill a position for Superintendent at our company! To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to do the following: give direction to trades, subcontractors, and Norwest field employees. Ability to read and interpret blueprints & project specifications. Create, maintain, and manipulate construction schedules. Maintain safe jobsites and assessing project processes. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES other duties as assigned
· Give direction to trades, subcontractors, and Norwest field employees.
· Reading plan and specifications and conveying to Subcontractors and field employees.
· Comfortable determining means & methods & sequencing of trades alongside Subcontractors and Project Manager.
· Problem solve and troubleshoot as needed individually and as a team when needed.
· Build and maintain construction schedules with track record of finishing on-time.
· Ability to coordinate subcontractors and determine sequencing of trades.
· Develop and maintain long-term relationships with subcontractors, and vendors .
· Review Submittals, Shop Drawings and RFI’s alongside Project Manager.
· Maintain jobsite safety.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
· High School Diploma
· GED or Trade School
· 5-10 years of industry experience
· Knowledge of industry programs(Outlook, Excel, and scheduling software)
· Experience with Procore or other project management software
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
· Valid Driver’s License
