The Norwich Free Academy is seeking an Information Systems Coordinator. The Information Systems Coordinator is crucial in maintaining the accuracy, confidentiality, and integrity of student and staff data within the student information system (PowerSchool) and the state’s student data systems. Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Google Suite.
- Expertise in administering PowerSchool or similar technology platforms.
- Skilled in handling large datasets and data conversion.
- Proven ability to resolve technical issues and maintain data accuracy.
- Familiarity with educational data systems and technology platforms.
- In depth knowledge of reporting school data to the Connecticut State Department of Education (CSDE).
- Proficient in managing students’ schedules and grades within a student information system.
- Experience in creating report cards, developing data queries, and generating miscellaneous reports using a student information system.
- Minimum of three years of experience in PowerSchool Admin, or at least five years experience performing administrative tasks in a student information system to support a school.
