Job Title : Infrastructure Engineer Duration : 90 Days Location : Remote/Detroit MI, Travel 50% across the continental US. Potential for Mexico and Canada
Job Description: Key Focus
Install, configure, and maintain Cisco routers, switches, and servers. Perform network changeovers and upgrades at multiple sites.
Troubleshoot and resolve network issues to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with IT teams to design and implement network solutions.
Monitor network performance and implement improvements as needed.
Document network configurations, changes, and procedures.
Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and team members.
Ensure network security and compliance with industry standards.
Technical Expertise
is required.
Proven experience with Cisco routers and switches.
Strong knowledge of network protocols and technologies.
Experience in installing and configuring network hardware.
Proven experience in installing and configuring various types of cables including punch down experience.
Strong knowledge of networking protocols and cabling standards.
Ability to travel to various sites for network changeovers and upgrades.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience with server installation and configuration. Familiarity with network monitoring tools and software.
Additional certifications in networking or related fields.
