RN Restorative Nurse

Norwood Crossing is a nonprofit healthcare organization specializing in quality senior care. Our facility is located on the northwest side of Chicago in the quaint neighborhood of Norwood Park. Our organization is seeking a full-time Restorative Nurse to join our growing team. Our ideal candidate will pride themselves on displaying professionalism, providing top notch care, and having the enthusiasm and willingness to learn.

Objective :

Leading nursing personnel in provision of care for Residents and necessary unit tasks and functions in compliance with Norwood Crossing policies, procedures, and applicable health care standards of IDPH.

Duties :

• Facilitates weekly meeting and participate in quarterly meeting
• Direct, supervise, and coordinate the Rehabilitation / Restorative Care Program Wound rounds with physicians
• Evaluates residents for rehabilitative and restorative services
• Completes required record keeping upon resident admission, discharge, transfer; chart and document per facility policy
• Interacts professionally with multiple disciplines, residents, and family members
• Makes daily rounds of unit and prioritize in a fast pace environment
• Facilitates weekly meeting and participates in quarterly meetings
