We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Golf Professional to join our team and assist in maintaining the highest standards of excellence in golf operations.Experience Required
- Enrolled in the PGM Associates Program is preferred.
- Demonstrate leadership and professionalism, setting an example for all employees in behavior and work ethic.
- Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization abilities.
- Customer-service oriented with a focus on service excellence.
- Proficient in written and verbal business communication.
- Proficient in using computers, including Microsoft Word and Excel, and familiar with other tools such as email, internet, tournament software, and databases.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and remain standing for extended periods of time.
- Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
Essential Responsibilities
- Assist the Director of Golf with the daily operations of the golf course and pro shop.
- Help plan and execute member tournaments, events, and outings.
- Assist in Player Development Programs
- Perform starter and marshaling duties as assigned by the Director of Golf.
- Provide golf instruction to members, guests, and junior golfers as needed.
- Promote and sell merchandise in the pro shop, ensuring inventory is well-organized and appealing.
- Foster strong member relationships through exceptional service, including playing with the members when time allows.
- Ensure that all operations align with Norwood Hills’ high standards of service and professionalism.
- Participate in preparations for the Stifel Charity Classic, contributing to the smooth execution of the event.
- Conduct oneself in a professional manner and always maintain a professional image.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
