Receptionist responsibilities will include greeting clients and determining their reason for visit, answering phones and emails, organizing files (mostly hardcopy as we are an older school hospital), scheduling appointments, and selling general veterinary products available in-clinic. As we are a smaller staffed clinic, there may also be times when assistance will be needed for appointments and diagnostics, so some experience with animals and animal care is prefered. While some skills are not necessary up front, we are hoping to find someone with great time management and a solid work ethic.
Assistant responsibilities will include small animal care, client education, animla restraint, and nail trimming.
