Nosco is looking for a Baler Operator on second shift at our Pleasant Prairie, WI Facility.
As an employee owner in this position, you will collect paper scrap from each asset, properly sort and classify grades to maximize its value. In this role, you will comply with safety standards, maintain the highest levels of quality and support strategic goals and objectives to help improve the automation, innovation, and quality within the Carton Gluing team.
In this role, you will…
- Operate available equipment to ensure production objectives are met.
- Promote recycle environment
- Perform minor preventive maintenance and repairs and report any mechanical defects to manager or technical lead.
- Ensure quality system procedures are followed at all times.
- Ensure department meets all needs for customer satisfaction including OTD.
Success factors…
- Must have good interpersonal skills to be able to freely communicate with all production staff.
- Must have good mechanical background
- Must have lift truck operating experience, at least one year
- Ability to sit, stand and walk for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds, work at a computer for extended periods of time, and have manual dexterity for computer work; long periods of concentration; speaking, hearing and vision are also essentials to performing job functions.
