Nosco is looking for a Bindery Trimmer/Cutter at our Gurnee, IL facility on days and nights. This role is on a Creative Schedule, which consists of a rotating schedule, 12 hours per shift, and every other weekend.
As an employee owner in this position, you will Inspect and accurately trim printed material from the pressroom. Material is to be made within tolerance, in accordance with both internal and customer specifications, while working in a safe and efficient manner. This is a position that requires a critical eye for detail, precision, and consistency. All while working in a team-based environment.
In this role, you will…
- Operate available equipment to ensure production objectives are met.
- Become proficient on all fold styles, booklets, bundling, banding, and flat-count work.
- Perform minor preventive maintenance and repairs and report any mechanical defects to the supervisor.
- Ensure quality system procedures are followed at all times.
- Ensure safety guidelines are practiced and a priority.
- Ensure department meets all needs for customer satisfaction including OTD.
Success factors…
- Experience with basic cGMP and documentation in a manufacturing environment, preferred
- High school diploma or GED
- Flexibility to work on any shift and overtime when needed, sometimes on short notice
- Commit to good attendance and function with good, team-building behavior while operating within Nosco's policies and procedures
- Ability to sit, stand and walk for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds, work at a computer for extended periods of time, and have manual dexterity for computer work; long periods of concentration; speaking, hearing and vision are also essentials to performing job functions.

The typical pay range for this role is $19.00 - $25.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base offer will depend on a variety of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

- Basic computer skills; knowledge of keyboard functions
