Sales and Account Specialist - Automotive Performance/Motorsports

The Sales and Account Specialist will be responsible for retail and dealer sales cycles of Nostrum High Performance fuel system products (injectors, pumps, and associated parts). This shall include phone/email/social media first contact, prospecting, engagement (qualifying), nurturing, closing, order satisfaction including shipping, and post sales follow-up. The associate will also be responsible for lead management and engagement with customers on social media, email, phone, and website inquiries. As part of order satisfaction, the associate will be responsible for finished goods pack-out and working with operations team members to define product forecasts (production). The associate shall also participate in product planning, pricing, contracting, and marketing. Responsibilities and compensation may vary depending on experience and employment status. For full time direct employees, Nostrum offers competitive total compensation packages including a sales commission program as well as comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life, disability, FSA, 401k, vacation and additional benefits.

Qualifications:

  • Expertise in sales and sales cycle activities
  • Outgoing, friendly, and strong customer engagement skills (phone, written or in person)
  • Social media savvy – capable of customer engagement through social media channels
  • Experience with lead management & support tools (Zendesk)
  • Fluent in English & strong writing skills, other languages a huge plus
  • Availability to travel up to 10% (domestic & international) required
  • Candidate must possess valid employment authorization documents for employment in the United States
  • Candidate must possess a valid driver’s license, authorized to drive in MI, and must have a clean driving record

  • Is a "car person" or is intimate with the automotive space and has a base knowledge of engines and cars
  • Comfortable working in a small company
  • Ability to manage multiple customers independently
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Discipline: ability to build strong daily habits and routine that support the responsibilities and deliverables

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 per year
