Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Statement Preparation:
- Preparing consolidated balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).
- Preparing quarterly and annual schedules, including those supporting earnings releases and SEC filings.
- Regulatory Reporting:
- Preparing and submitting regulatory reports, such as Bank Call Reports.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations.
- Financial Analysis:
- Performing variance analysis and trend analysis to identify key drivers and insights.
- Analyzing financial performance, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
- Internal Controls:
- Maintaining and monitoring internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial reporting.
- Participating in risk and control assessments.
- Other Responsibilities:
- Assisting with monthly and annual close processes.
- Coordinating with external auditors.
- Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Improving financial processes and workflows.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA or other relevant certifications are often preferred.
- Experience:
- Relevant experience in financial reporting, banking, or accounting.
- Experience with financial systems and software.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP, IFRS).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.
- Experience with XBRL filing procedures.
Salary : $50 - $65
