Financial Reporting Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Statement Preparation:
• Preparing consolidated balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).
• Preparing quarterly and annual schedules, including those supporting earnings releases and SEC filings.
• Regulatory Reporting:
• Preparing and submitting regulatory reports, such as Bank Call Reports.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations.
• Financial Analysis:
• Performing variance analysis and trend analysis to identify key drivers and insights.
• Analyzing financial performance, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
• Internal Controls:
• Maintaining and monitoring internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial reporting.
• Participating in risk and control assessments.
• Other Responsibilities:
• Assisting with monthly and annual close processes.
• Coordinating with external auditors.
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Improving financial processes and workflows.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA or other relevant certifications are often preferred.

• Experience:
• Relevant experience in financial reporting, banking, or accounting.
• Experience with financial systems and software.

• Technical Skills:
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP, IFRS).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.
• Experience with XBRL filing procedures.
