What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-time Associate Dentist position at Not your typical dentist?
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join Not your typical dentist two days a week. Possibly Tuesdays and Thursdays. I am seeking a dentist that is conservative, no need to push and overprescribe dental work! This is a boutique dental practice . I use a dental hygienist to help on Thursdays, so Tuesdays, the dentist will do hygiene as well. I only have two operating chairs and I am thinking in possible future growth. This is a great opportunity for a younger dentist that might be thinking in owning a small business in the future or learning managing skills. The practice will be 6 years old and was started from "scratch with zero patients", so it is still up and running. This not corporate dentistry and I do not roll like that. I come originally from public health so I believe in helping with oral health, and yes, you might get the usual crown or easy root canal, or an extraction sometimes, but in this location, there is not much need for that. If you feel you meet this qualifications, please apply. I accept most PPO insurances, the good ones and bad ones, plus some Medicaid and Medicare as well. That is why I am looking at dental materials prices and I do my best to keep my assistants happy so they stay.

- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license and ability to pass any required background checks.
- Proficiency in oral surgery, root canal therapy, pediatric dentistry, and dental extractions is preferred.
