Role Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead, Solutions Engineering to join our go-to-market team. As the Lead, Solutions Engineering, you will operate as a pivotal player-coach, balancing direct contributions as a top-performing Solutions Engineer with responsibility for mentoring and guiding the Solutions Engineering team. You'll play a pivotal role in driving new market growth by aligning our groundbreaking healthcare technology solutions with the unique needs of healthcare providers, payors, and enterprises. You’ll help transform complex problems into innovative, AI-driven solutions that improve patient care at scale while directly impacting the company’s growth and long-term success. You will leverage your technical expertise and business acumen to understand customer needs, configure high-impact solution concepts leveraging Notable’s platform capabilities, deliver compelling product demonstrations, and support the acceleration of new business deals. And, you will help build and scale the Solutions Engineering team through development of best practices, systems, coaching, tooling, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, mentor, and drive continuous improvement for our Solutions Engineering team
  • Develop and codify best practices to help our Solutions Engineering team succeed, achieve our target outcomes, and continuously learn and improve in efficiency, scalability, and driving business outcomes for our customers and Notable
  • Own technical sales deliverables by mastering our competitive landscape; highlight product differentiation, articulate value propositions, and assist in defining technical solutions tailored to client needs
  • Provide front-end sales support, creating and presenting customized product demonstrations to convert leads into qualified opportunities
  • Excel in delivering impactful, tailored demonstrations at client sites, showcasing our product's value and addressing specific client needs, including an understanding of their existing enterprise systems
  • Own the creation and continuous enhancement of scalable, repeatable systems for technical sales enablement (e.g., demo libraries, scripts, presentation decks, technical documentation)
  • Support the sales process, working closely with internal team members, prospects, and current customers to effectively communicate our product's value throughout the sales cycle
  • Contribute to solution marketing efforts such as the creation of net new materials for net new solutions
  • Collaborate strategically with Product and Engineering leadership to influence the development roadmap based on customer feedback
  • Collaborate with Sales, Partnerships, and Go-to-Market leadership to identify capacity needs, create repeatable workflows, and ensure team members are meeting performance benchmarks
  • Develop and maintain playbooks, demo procedures, and technical templates that enable the Solutions Engineering team to standardize and scale their approach to customer engagements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 5 years of Sales Engineering / Solutions Engineering experience in a SaaS/PaaS environment, with demonstrated success as a top-performing technical sales contributor.
  • 2 years of experience in a leadership or player-coach role for sales/solutions engineering, including mentoring team members, developing technical playbooks, or overseeing team productivity.
  • Experience developing the processes, tools, and templates to help a Sales / Solutions Engineering team operate at maximum productivity and effectiveness.
  • Deep understanding of the healthcare industry, including experience with the major electronic health record systems such as Epic, and healthcare data standards (FHIR, HL7).
  • Exceptional demo skills with a proven track record of delivering impactful product demonstrations to executive-level audiences
  • Strong ability to connect customer business problems with software solutions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM systems
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time
