The Assistant Large Project Manager and Estimator will be responsible for establishing strong relationships with clients and ensuring the successful completion of projects. Key duties include:
- Providing detailed cost estimates for projects ranging from $500,000 to $1 million.
- Managing budgets and schedules.
- Coordinating with field supervisors and craftsmen.
- Offering technical support.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, organization, problem-solving skills, and a desire to advance to a Large Project Manager/Estimator.
The successful candidate will:
- Possess an Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent experience.
- Have a minimum of 3-5 years in Mechanical Project Management, Estimating, or applicable hands-on field experience.
- Have strong knowledge of piping, plumbing, refrigeration, contract design, estimating, and project management.
- Familiarity with construction equipment, manufacturing processes, and techniques.
- Good interpersonal skills including communication, organization, and relationship building.
- Previous exposure to construction equipment, drawings, and specifications.
- A "can-do" attitude and passion for the role.
