FROSTER – FULL TIME – Oklahoma City (Across from Quail Springs Mall)

*** This position will be for the future Oklahoma City Nothing Bundt Cakes location across from Quail Springs Mall***
Nothing Bundt Cakes is open Monday to Friday from 9:00AM to 7:00PM, Saturdays from 10AM to 6PM and Sundays from 11AM to 4PM. The Nothing Bundt Cakes Froster ensures that cakes of the highest quality are consistently created for our guests by meeting production demands. The Froster makes our signature frosting, utilizing our techniques to frost all our delicious cakes.

Education and Work Requirements:

• Applicant must be 18 years of age or older.
• No experience necessary. We will train on site.
• Previous experience in a retail, bakery or restaurant setting is a plus.
• Must obtain a food handler's permit once hired.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Follow the Nothing Bundt Cakes frosting recipe and application techniques.
• Utilize bakery equipment to frost cakes accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure an adequate supply of frosted cakes are maintained in the bakery display case.
• Maintain appropriate frosting and frosted cake par levels.
• Follow the proper product rotation standards, helping keep frosting and refrigeration logs.
• Monitor inventory of frosting supplies and inform management when an order needs to be placed.
• Evaluate baked and frosted cakes to ensure Nothing Bundt Cakes standards are met.
• Clean, sanitize, and restock the frosting workstation.
• Comply with all health and safety guidelines and Nothing Bundt Cakes policies and procedures.
• Maintain a consistent work attendance and punctuality record.

Work Availability:

• Must be available to work 32-40 hours a week. (Full Time Time)
• Must be available to work various weekday shifts between 8:30AM and 7:00PM.
• Must be available to work a minimum of 2 Saturday shifts a month between 9:30AM and 6:00PM.
• Must be available to work a minimum of 2 Sunday shifts a month between 10:30AM and 4:00PM.
• Must be able to work additional hours during holiday seasons as needed: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, etc.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Can understand written and oral directions and apply knowledge to perform job responsibilities.
• Understands basic units of measurement used within the U.S.
• Has the ability to perform repetitive tasks that require precise and continuous movement of the arms, wrists, hands, and fingers.
• Has the ability to lift moderate to heavy items (up to 50lbs).
• Has the ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Able to work on a fast-paced production schedule.
• Possesses an attention to detail and the ability to adhere to health and safety practices and work environment standards.
• Diligent, organized, self-motivated, big picture thinker.
• Able to prioritize the workload and operate independently with minimal supervision.
