Back of House: Utility/Dishwasher/Baker's Assistant/Froster

Nothing Bundt Cakes in Corpus Christi is looking to hire a new addition to our heart of house team. Your daily tasks will vary between the different departments in our heart of house. Some tasks include washing dishes for the baker and frosters but also helping to bake and frost cakes. You will be trained to help the baker flip, label, and store cakes. We will also be training you to frost all our different cakes, as well as how to make our signature frosting. You will also be tasked with keeping your station clean and helping other departments if needed. Other tasks include putting away deliveries, following sanitizing guidelines and procedures and helping the baker, baker's assistant, and frosting department with tasks that are needed.

The range for starting pay will vary between $10-11 depending on the task you are doing. There are bonuses, raises, cross-training opportunities, and promotions available as well.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Able to understand written and oral directions and apply knowledge to perform job responsibilities.

Can lift over 50 lbs, perform repetitious, physical tasks according to time standards, and stand for extended periods of time.

Is diligent, organized, and self-motivated with the ability to operate both individually and as a team with minimal supervision.

Education, Certifications, and Work Experience Requirements
Applicants MUST be 19 years of age or older.
Food Handler's Certification (while not needed to get hired, you will need it after getting hired)

Work Availability

Based on the changing business demands, you must have the flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.

Must be punctual and ready to adjust for last-minute changes in schedule.

Though Nothing Bundt Cakes is a franchise, each bakery is individually owned and operated. The bakery and not the franchise employ employees. Please contact your local bakery for employment opportunities.
