Summary
As a Guest Service Agent at Nothing Bundt Cakes, you will be the face of our bakery, providing exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences for our guests. This role is essential in supporting our mission to spread joy through our products while ensuring smooth operations at the bakery.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist guests with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive experience.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain satisfaction.
- Process transactions accurately using the cash register and manage cash handling procedures.
- Provide product knowledge and recommend items to enhance guest experiences through upselling.
- Conduct product demos as needed to engage customers and promote offerings.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area to create an inviting atmosphere.
- Support team members in daily operations, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Assist in managing inventory levels and restocking supplies as necessary.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in customer service or retail sales, preferably in a bakery or food service environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect genuinely with guests.
- Experience with cash handling and operating a cash register accurately.
- Ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Familiarity with retail math concepts is beneficial but not required.
- Supervising experience is a plus but not mandatory for this role.
