What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dishwasher/Utility position at Nothing Bundt Cakes?
We have a part time opening for a Utility/Dishwasher @ Nothing Bundt Cakes Bakery - Sacramento.
We're looking to fill immediately for our team. MUST HAVE OPEN AVAILABILITY- AND WILLING TO BE FLEXIBLE.
We are open 7 days a week. Holidays are a necessity to be available.
THIS POSITION IS WASHING & CLEANING!
Along with dishwashing you will be also assisting the baker. This includes wrapping cakes, taking cakes out of pans, etc.
This includes but not limited to cleaning the bundt pans ( LOTS OF BUNDT PANS) small kitchen utensils, floor mats, sinks, break room, restroom, sweeping, mopping, cleaning of mats on a daily basis, wiping down messes, trash runs etc....SERIOUS APPLICANTS ONLY need apply -
We have a 3 compartment sink. They are HAND WASHED. This is repetitive work - lots of standing - hard work - commitment to coming to work when scheduled.
Our criteria: Energetic and eager to be part of a growing brand. Must be hands on, too. After all, our bundt cakes don't make themselves. We also ask that our team members are year round and not just seasonal. We also do work weekends and Holidays - open availability is needed for our team members. Attention to detail is essential in all aspects and positions of our bakery. This specific position would require a need & desire to clean and not have an issue with water. This position requires lots of standing and repetitive work.
You will be working as a bakers assistant as well, this includes the following:
-Wrapping cakes
-Loading and unloading cakes where needed
-Helping with baking if needed
-Working diligently on any tasks the baker may need
