Multi-Unit Bakery Operations Manager

Position Summary :   We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Operations Manager to support eight bakery managers across the Kansas City metro area at a growing franchisee in an exciting, joy-filled brand. This role focuses on enhancing operational efficiency and driving sales growth. The Operations Manager will provide guidance, training, and strategic support while upholding brand standards and fostering a positive team culture.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide support and guidance to bakery managers to enhance operational efficiency and overall business performance. Clear understanding that this role is to support the bakery managers, not manage the bakeries.
• Collaborate with bakery managers to develop and implement standardized operating procedures to drive sales growth and optimize cost management across all locations.
• Serve as the go-to expert on operational brand standards, staying informed on operational changes and policies.
• Assist in tracking P&Ls and analyzing KPIs, identifying areas for improvement and providing strategic support.
• Drive training and development initiatives, including assisting in the creation of training processes and operational handbooks. Assist with hiring and onboarding of key bakery team members.
• Serve as a backup manager in the event a bakery manager takes leave or vacation.
• Assist with planning and execution of off-site events as needed.
• Address guest escalations and ensure exceptional customer service.
• Act as the first point of contact for maintenance issues at bakeries locations, coordinating communication and resolution efforts to ensure efficient, cost-effective solutions with minimal disruption to operations.
