What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nothing Bundt Cakes Joy Creator - Customer Service ( evenings/weekends ) position at Nothing Bundt Cakes?
This is open to current high school students! This position requires both weekday and weekend availability. The typical shift would be 3:30pm-7:00pm 2-3 weekdays per week plus more fluid shifts every other weekend.
- The Joy Creator/Guest Service Representative serves Nothing Bundt Cakes guests both in person and over the phone with creative solutions in a warm and welcoming environment. Guest Service Representatives will also perform side work duties for the crafting department, some light cleaning, and some clerical duties. The ideal candidate has a friendly, outgoing personality and the ability to make genuine connections with guests. The focus of this position is the highest possible customer service!

Assist other departments when necessary
Introduce walk-in guests to our bakery and our products with a guest tour Assist guests with walk-in orders while using creative solutions
Suggest additional retail items and up-sell with candles, cards, and balloons Assist phone guests by placing incoming orders
Give cake presentations while performing quality control tests
Operate & balance point of sale system (POS) with accuracy and efficiency Gather guests email addresses
Keep samples available during all hours of operation
Maintaining a strong knowledge of NBC's products, prices, and promotions
Keep retail area clean, swept, neatly merchandised
Dust all retail surfaces twice per week, including all counter tops, and POS station
Duties assigned by crafting department such as fluffing bows and making design pieces Track inventory and commission sales
