Utility Dishwasher

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our culinary team. As a Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential to the overall success of our food service operations and contributes to a positive dining experience for our guests.

Duties

• Operate dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, pots, pans, and utensils efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area by regularly cleaning counters, floors, and food preparation areas.
• Ensure proper food handling and sanitation practices are followed at all times.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff during peak service times to ensure timely dish availability.
• Support catering and banquet services by cleaning and organizing serving equipment.
• Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the kitchen supervisor promptly.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a kitchen environment or food service is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with culinary practices, including food preparation and handling techniques.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Willingness to work as part of a team and assist colleagues as needed.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $14.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
