What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assembler I position at Nothum?
Essential Functions:
- Ability to read shop prints and drawings accurately to produce parts and assemblies that meet company quality standards
- Ensure that all parts and assemblies assigned by the Lead, Building Supervisor or Production Manager are accurate and completed in a timely manner
- Maintain a good working knowledge of measuring and squaring assemblies
- Other duties as assigned
Physical Ability to:
- Stand, stoop, bend, sit and crawl
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs assisted and move around equipment
Required Characteristics:
- Communication skills with leads, supervisors, senior leadership
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
- Follow all company handbooks, policies & procedures
- Ability to follow policy and procedures
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Required Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver License, including applicable auto insurance
Travel Requirements:
- Local as needed >5%
