Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Partnership
- Serve as the primary HR leader for the Springfield site, partnering with managers to align HR strategies with business goals.
- Provide coaching and support to leadership on people management, workforce planning, and team development.
- Drive a culture of engagement, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Lead full-cycle recruiting, ensuring the right talent is hired to support business objectives.
- Develop proactive workforce planning strategies to address hiring needs and talent gaps.
- Strengthen employer branding and talent retention initiatives.
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Act as the HR point of contact for employee concerns, ensuring fair and effective resolutions.
- Guide managers on performance coaching, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.
- Proactively assess and enhance workplace culture through engagement initiatives.
People Development & Leadership Support
- Provide hands-on coaching and training for supervisors and managers in leadership best practices.
- Support performance management processes, succession planning, and career development.
- Foster a high-performance workplace through leadership support and organizational effectiveness strategies.
Safety, Compliance & HR Operations
- Act as the HR liaison for site safety programs, participating in safety committees and partnering with the regional HR team.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and HR best practices.
- Assist with benefits inquiries, payroll support, and timekeeping processes.
- Maintain accurate employee records, conduct HR reporting, and support audits as needed.
What You Bring:
- 3 years of HR experience in a business partner or generalist role, preferably in manufacturing or an industrial environment.
- Strong expertise in talent acquisition, employee relations, and leadership coaching.
- Experience supporting HR operations, including benefits, payroll, and compliance.
- Ability to build strong relationships, influence leaders, and drive HR initiatives independently.
- A proactive, people-first approach, balancing strategic impact with hands-on HR support.
