Sales Manager - Business Development Representatives

Job Summary :   Notified is hiring a Sales Manager  for our Business Development Team.

Responsible for managing, developing, and mentoring individual contributor BDRs. In this role you will plan and execute the sales strategy for a team of 13-15 BDRS and be focused on inspiring, training, growing, and retaining personnel and enabling top line growth of the business.

Location :  This role is based in our office 5 days a week located at 770 N. Halsted, Chicago.

Compensation :   For the Chicago location, this opportunity offers a base salary range of $115,000-$125,000 plus monthly paid commission. Actual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, location and market condition. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental, vision, 401-K and paid time off.

What you will do :

  • Lead, hire, train, and develop a team of 13-15 BDRs to drive lead generation and sales pipeline growth.
  • Develop and refine outreach strategies to target ideal customers and key decision-makers.
  • Collaborate with marketing to optimize campaigns, messaging, and lead nurturing efforts.
  • Manager team performance, provide ongoing coaching, performance improvement plans and implement best practices to improve efficiency and results.
  • Ensure effective use of CRM and sales tools to track, measure, and report on BDR activities.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and competitive insights to refine sales strategies.

What you will bring :

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or comparative work experience.
  • 5 Years of customer interaction
  • 2 years of managing a Business Development Team
  • Strong understanding of outbound and inbound sales strategies, lead generation, and prospecting techniques.
  • Excellent leadership and coaching skills to develop and mentor a team of BDRs.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience in setting KPIs, analyzing performance metrics, and implementing process improvements.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and sales engagement tools (e.g., Salesloft, Zoominfo, Sales Navigator).
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Industry experience in the Investor Relations (IR) or Public Relations (PR) industry a plus.
