About The Role :
As the Head of Security Architecture and Engineering at Notion, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the security landscape of our rapidly growing platform. This unique position offers the opportunity to lead world-class security engineering teams, protecting millions of users' data while enabling innovation. You'll be at the forefront of building cutting-edge security features, reducing abuse across our platform, and building internal tools for collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will directly influence the security strategy of one of the most exciting software companies in the world. Key Responsibilities :
- Security Features Development
Lead and guide the development of critical security features, including Enterprise Key Management (EKM).
Lead the team responsible for the development and security of our Admin Tool, which supports internal controls and user management.
Securing Cloud Infrastructure : Oversee the implementation and maintenance of security measures across cloud platforms, data centers, and other internal systems to protect against threats and vulnerabilities.

The compensation offered for this role will be based on multiple factors such as location, the role’s scope and complexity, and the candidate’s experience and expertise, and may vary from the range provided below. For roles based in San Francisco and New York, the estimated base salary range for this role is $258,000 – $350,000 per year.
