Reporting to the Executive Director of Advancement, the Director of Alumnae and Parent Engagement is responsible for the effective development, leadership, and management of Notre Dame Academy’s alumnae and parent engagement programs. The Director will be responsible for cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of a portfolio of these constituents, and take leadership in creating and planning (with support of the Director of Institutional Events and Community Engagement) all events for alumnae and parents, including milestone and other special Reunions, the Alumnae Board meetings, and the Parents League meetings and activities. The Director of Alumnae and Parent Engagement must be able to represent Notre Dame Academy in a professional and enthusiastic manner with the highest focus on customer service and attention to detail. This position will play a key role in developing prospect targets for a future capital campaign and partnering with other Advancement team members to craft and make campaign solicitations.

Key Responsibilities:
•Lead alumnae and parent engagement, implementing goals through collaboration with the Advancement Team, Special Events Team, and other key partners in the institution (Principal/academic leadership team, Enrollment team, Athletics Director).
•Plan and implement gift cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of a portfolio of alumnae and parents, partnering with the Director of Annual Giving on prospect plans, as appropriate. event leadership, and volunteer opportunities.
•Set and achieve giving and participation goals and metrics for alumnae and parents.
•Lead the planning, organization, and implementation of all alumnae and parent/family events, including Reunions, Young and Golden Alumnae gatherings, Senior Class Gift celebrations, and networking and development opportunities.
•Oversee the Alumni Association Board, coordinating two annual meetings and multiple pieces of communication throughout the year.
•Lead and oversee the Parents League, a group of current parent volunteers. Develop a robust calendar of activities for them, structured as cultivation and stewardship of parent prospects.
•Partner with the Enrollment team to engage parent prospects in recruitment efforts.
•Collaborate with the Communications team to create a communications plan for various outlets focused on stewardship of alumnae and parent supporters.
•Work with the Director of Operations and Stewardship and other teammates to ensure accurate and up to date alumnae and parent database records.
•Additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree required.
•5 years of Alumni and Parent engagement, with progressive responsibilities for leadership of these programs. This experience can be based in a variety of educational settings and not limited to secondary education.
