The Director of Annual Giving manages a portfolio of prospects, including alumnae, current parents, past parents, and grandparents to cultivate, solicit, and steward them for gifts to the Fund for NDA (annual fund/unrestricted support). This position reports to the Executive Director of Advancement and works closely with the other members of the Advancement team, including the Director of Alumnae and Parent Engagement and the Director of Operations and Stewardship.

Key Responsibilities:
•Plan and implement the school’s annual fundraising strategy for the Fund for NDA that supports the annual operating budget and the school’s strategic plan.
•Manage a portfolio of annual giving prospects and partner with the
Director of Alumnae and Parent Engagement to identify and solicit additional annual gift prospects of increasing levels of capacity.
•Serve as lead for the annual Night of NDA Gala, the largest single source of annual unrestricted dollars.
•Serve as lead for the Senior Class Gift in engaging parents to give.
•Lead the effort to create annual fund solicitation strategies via mail and email for key appeals, including Giving Tuesday and end of calendar year.
•Recruit, train, and develop leadership volunteers to assist with the annual fund program.
•Work with the Director of Operations and Stewardship and other teammates to ensure
accurate and complete Advancement database records.
•With the Advancement team, partner with the Communications team to develop and manage a robust and comprehensive annual fund solicitation communication schedule and
ensure it aligns with all school communications.
•Utilize donor engagement and wealth screening to enable data-driven decision making.
•Produce comprehensive fund, appeal, and event revenue reports on annual fund activities to demonstrate impact and inform future planning. Support the Executive Director of Advancement in preparing such reports for the Advancement Committee of the Board.
•Assist with the production of the School’s Annual Report.
•Additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred. At least 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in direct fundraising.
•Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed revenue goals
•Experience in strengthening an annual giving program using strategy and creativity.
•Ability to recruit, motivate, and manage volunteers, including alumnae, parents, and students.
