Warehouse Tooling Technician – Nashville, IL

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The person hired for the position of Warehouse Tooling Technician will be responsible for the following:
- Analyzing specifications for tooling jobs.
- Setting up and operating machine tools.
- Fitting and assembling parts to make and repair tools and keeping equipment in operational condition.
- Read and understand engineering tool drawings and schematics.
- Read blueprints, use micrometers, calipers, and comparator.
- Maintain tooling.
- Repairing tooling equipment and ensuring that it is in good working order and ready for use.
- Trouble shooting maintenance repair and fabrication of machine parts, etc.
- Safely utilize material handling equipment and techniques.
- Adhere to all company quality and safety policies and procedures.
- May be assigned other miscellaneous duties (including training) by department supervision/leadership.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Working knowledge of the heat treat process of tool steels.
- Strong diagnostic skills required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Two years of experience in the tooling trade (preferred).
- Understanding of hydraulics.
- Advanced mechanical skills.
- Knowledge of mining equipment.

Pay: $20-$24/hour based on experience
