Job Description

American Medical Staffing (AMS) puts you first, and we are currently seeking a Correctional - Nurse Practitioner to join our corrections medical team in Burkeville, Virginia. We are looking for Nurse Practitioners that are certified and licensed without a written or electronic practice agreement with a patient care team physician. This facility is a level 3 security men's state prison. There is also a low-security work center on site.

NP - Corrections Job Details :

• Pay Rate : $ 2,400 - $2,600 per week
• Schedule : 8a - 5p
• Available Shift : Days, 5 shifts per week
• Start Date : Two weeks of offer
• Located In : Burkeville, Virginia
• Requirements : Qualified applicants MUST have at least 5 years of experience, preferably in a corrections or similar setting, have a valid Nurse Practitioner license and be willing to obtain VA licensure.

As a Correctional Nurse Practitioner you will play a crucial role in providing medical care to incarcerated

individuals, contributing to their well-being and rehabilitation. You will collaborate with healthcare

providers and correctional staff to develop and implement individualized care plans.
