We are pleased to announce the opening for a C3BM Principal Systems Engineer, who will join our Engineering Services Division in Huntsville, Alabama and become part of our rapidly growing technology company operating in missile defense, cybersecurity, test range modernization, biotechnology, and space control marketspaces. You will support the Command, Control, Communications, and Battle Management (C3BM) systems engineering efforts through collaboration with other Missile Defense System elements.
Responsibilities:
You’ll be:
- Providing interoperability engineering, analysis, and technical guidance for C2BMC, MDS Elements, and external capability integration and interface design efforts between MDA/BC, BC contractors, and MDS Elements.
- Participating in C2BMC software engineering reviews and analyses for development of C2BMC Spiral products.
- Participating in technical baseline efforts to develop specifications and interfaces for current and future C3BM spirals.
- Supporting critical integration and interoperability product evaluations based on future product integration into MDA/BC spiral builds through interface, requirements, and C2BMC product definitions.
- Participating in technical baseline efforts to develop specifications and interfaces for current and future C3BM spirals.
- Participating in C2BM and BMDS OPIR Architecture (BOA) Agile review processes.
- Participating in MDA ground test planning and objectives development.
- Providing evolving C3BM architecture analysis and expertise in the area of OPIR capability.
- Supporting M&S development involving C2BMC, sensors, and space assets.
- Participating in evaluations of C3BM increments and initiatives; coordinate IV&V activities for all C2BMC and OPIR.
- Providing expertise in threat modeling.
Basic Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in STEM and 12 years related experience
- Active Secret Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with MDA/DoD systems engineering like cycle
- Familiarity with Agile Software Development processes and product development timelines
- Experience with Missile Defense Agency, Ballistic Missile Defense System, and/or C3BM Program Office work efforts or MDA sensors
- Ability to work independently within a dynamic environment
- Ability to apply network engineering and solutions to support real-world test, integration, and operations
- Military experience is a plus
- Work within a collaborative environment composed of Government, prime contractor, sub-contractor and supporting contractor personnel in a badge-less contractor environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
- Self-starter with enthusiasm and capacity to learn in a fast-paced environment
