We are pleased to announce the opening for a Missile Defense THAAD Systems Engineer, who will join our Engineering Services Division in Huntsville, Alabama and become part of our rapidly growing technology company operating in missile defense, cybersecurity, test range modernization, biotechnology, and space control marketspaces. You will be part of a team that supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) THAAD Missile Product Office (MPO) supporting missile hardware engineering on multiple components in the Propulsion and Structures Division of the THAAD MPO.
Responsibilities : You'll be :
- Integrating into a cross-functional team and support the focal point for THAAD Missile hardware development, integration, test, production, and sustainment.
- Providing technical expertise on some portion of appropriate missile components including thrust vector actuator, boost motor, shroud, kill vehicle midbody, divert and attitude control system (DACS), and ordnance systems.
- Interfacing with senior engineers in the technical review of emerging THAAD Missile design updates in support of both obsolescence and / or performance driven upgrades as required.
- Providing technical expertise and team guidance related to technologies utilized in missile hardware components.
- Assisting the team by reviewing test plans, requirements, and evaluation of component / interceptor performance related to updates and design changes.
- Planning, defining, evaluating, and monitoring contract tasks involving THAAD Missile design, development, evaluation, test, and production.
