JOB SUMMARY
Nouria Energy is a fast growing retail and wholesale petroleum company that operates 170 retail service stations from Rhode Island into Southern Maine, and supplies branded fuels to numerous wholesale customers.
Nouria Energy is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service retail locations in Western, MA and the Hartford, CT area. The individual will be responsible for a wide range of maintenance and repair activities involving minor carpentry, electrical, HVAC and plumbing. Typical equipment to be maintained includes car wash equipment, HVAC systems, air compressors, tire inflation units, commercial car vacuum cleaners, interior and exterior lighting.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Candidates must be able to independently carry out the duties and responsibilities listed below at a satisfactory level.
- Manage, prioritize and complete multiple service calls. Calls are dispatched by the Nouria Maintenance Manager who will assist with call prioritization and ordering of maintenance supplies.
- Perform general repair and maintenance in a safe and efficient manner
- Maintain a high level of professionalism at all times
- Flexibility to respond to urgent maintenance calls during non-business hours
- Possess a valid drivers license with good driving record. A company work truck will be provided.
- Available 7 days a week (rotating, on-call schedule)
- Must supply own hand tools
- Services, repairs and performs preventive maintenance on all food equipment and cold side equipment according to manufacturer’s specifications.
- Diagnoses causes of problems and/or failures in commercial food service equipment and refrigeration systems for the purpose of identifying equipment and/or systems repair and/or replacement needs.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- High School diploma required
- 3 years in construction trades or facility management position
JOB RELATED SKILLS
- Time management skills with ability to manage several tasks simultaneously.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to use email and internet dispatching applications currently utilized by Nouria Energy
Compensation will be based upon individuals experience level and ability. A wide range of benefits are offered.
