About Us
Nourish is on a mission to improve people's health by making it easy to eat well. More than half of Americans have a chronic condition related to what they eat, and poor nutrition is the number one driver of preventable death.
Nourish is addressing this healthcare crisis by helping people eat better, more easily, with our food as medicine platform. We connect people with a telehealth Registered Dietitian, food, and mobile app to improve their nutrition, all covered by health insurance. The Nourish mobile app provides a comprehensive approach to wellness through personalized visits with Registered Dietitians, medically-tailored meal delivery, health progress tracking, personalized content, meal logging, recipes / meal planning, AI chat, and more.
We launched two years ago and already have thousands of dietitians and hundreds of thousands of patients on the platform. Our patients span a wide range of nutrition-related conditions including diabetes, eating disorders, kidney disease, GI conditions, cancer, obesity / weight management, cardiovascular disease, and more. We are live in all 50 states.
We are growing quickly, have partnered with national health insurance companies and provider groups, and have raised over $44M from top-tier VCs including Index Ventures, Thrive Capital, Maverick Ventures, Y Combinator, and Box Group, amongst others. Our angel investors include world-class healthcare founders from Oscar, Rightway Health, Headway, Spring Health, and Alto Pharmacy, as well as soccer star Alex Morgan and the founders from Olipop and Notion.

About the Roles :
Reporting to our co-founder & CTO and as a foundational member of Nourish's product team, you will have the opportunity to shape key areas of our business, each critical to our mission. We are hiring for two different roles : one focused on supporting (1) Consumer Experience and the other on (2) Billing Systems .
1) Consumer Experience : you'll lead the vision, strategy, and execution for our patient-facing mobile app and web platform. Collaborating with leadership, engineering, and design, you'll create a world-class, consumer-focused product that connects patients to personalized nutrition care while empowering them with the tools to manage their nutrition outside of sessions. By deeply understanding our patients' needs, you'll design features that simplify healthy eating and support self-guided progress, making nutrition an achievable part of daily life.
2) Billing Systems : you'll take ownership of our foundational billing systems, working closely with operations to lead the strategy and execution of delivering a seamless billing experience to our patients and providers. This includes improving cost estimations, enhancing the post-appointment experience, and ensuring efficient payment collection from our growing list of insurance partners.
These roles are full-time in NYC (in-person candidates only), with flexibility for some remote work. Nourish has an NYC office in the heart of Silicon Alley.
Key Responsibilities :
- Establish and communicate the vision and strategy for (1) Consumer Experience and (2) Billing Systems
- Create, prioritize, and execute an aggressive roadmap to improve key metrics in collaboration with the design, engineering, and bizops teams
- Conduct user research to understand our patients and providers and build delightful experiences
- Establish and analyze key metrics to measure progress in areas of opportunity and gain insights into the customer journey, driving impact on Nourish's business
