MONDAY-FRIDAY From 8AM-4 : 30PM
Shipping and Receiving Department
Primary Objective :
This Lift ( fork or pole ) position is responsible for the effective and efficient shipping and receiving of full truckloads (FTL) and less than truck load (LTL) orders, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
Major Function and Scope :
Effective and efficient shipping and receiving of orders, including LTL's, TL's, small packages and pick pack of accessories, with a dedication to customer satisfaction while using a fork or pole lift.
Use RF scanning equipment for shipping, receiving, and storing functions as required.
Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse. Comply with OSHA standards.
General warehouse functions including participation in daily cycle counts, performing labeling, load / sorting, repacking as needed, and cleaning.
Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Experience, and Competencies :
- Experience using WMS scanning equipment.
- High School diploma or GED preferred. 0-3 years of general work experience required.
- 1 year prior warehouse pole / fork lift experience preferred.
- Previous experience with high-speed industrial environment a plus.
- Must be able to efficiently and safely navigate pole / fork lift in warehouse environment.
