Automotive Combo Body Technician: Body Shop Technician and Painter
Nourse Chillicothe Automall is currently seeking a qualified Combo Body Shop Technician/ Painter for our Collision Center. Nourse Collision Center is located in the heart of Chillicothe, and is one of the most comprehensive body shops within a 50 mile radius! To maintain this level of work, this position requires an experienced candidate of 2 years as an auto body technician, ASE and I-CAR Certification. Some of the responsibilities of this employee would include:
- Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical, and hydraulic window and seating equipment, and trim to gain access fenders and other body panels
- Use a dolly to remove dents
- Filling depressions with filler using a putty knife
- Removing and replacing damaged fenders, hoods, doors, and other panels
- Bolt or weld replacement parts in position
- Straighten damaged or bent frames with a pneumatic frame straightening machine
- File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces
- Refinish repaired surfaces with a paint gun and sander
- Aim headlights, align wheels, and bleed hydraulic brake systems
- Repair or replace defective mechanical parts

Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must have an insurable driving record
- Must have 2 years of experience as a collision repair technician
- ASE Certification Required, I-CAR certification preferred
- Must have a professional appearance and work ethic
- Ability to take direction and execute team and company objectives
- Must be able to multi-task and work under pressure
- Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time as well as work outside
- Ability to drive automatic and standard transmission vehicles
