About the Job

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC & Refrigeration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems to ensure a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment.
In your future role as Refrigeration Technician, you will:

• Install heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment and systems.
• Inspect systems and components (e.g., HVAC units, ventilation systems) to ensure safety, identify repair needs, and provide preventive maintenance.
• Diagnose issues in HVAC and refrigeration systems to determine repair or replacement needs.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance to ensure system efficiency and functionality.
• Clean air conditioning and heating units, including coils, condensation pans, drain lines, and cooling towers.
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation (e.g., refrigerant records, logs, and specifications) to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Repair HVAC systems and components to maintain safety and availability.
• Request necessary equipment and supplies to complete installations and repairs.
• Coordinate with administrative staff and other trades to complete work orders efficiently.
• Inform personnel on work order procedures, statuses, and compliance with safety regulations.
• Assist other trades personnel as needed to support their work.
• Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition.
• Respond to emergency situations during or after hours to resolve immediate safety concerns.
• Transport tools, equipment, and supplies to job sites as required.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned to ensure an effective and efficient work environment.

We Believe You Bring:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in HVAC and refrigeration system installation, maintenance, and repair.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, ventilation units, and refrigeration equipment.
• Familiarity with safety procedures and regulations related to HVAC systems.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC and refrigeration issues.
• Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and documentation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Capability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Flexibility to respond to emergency situations during or outside regular working hours.
• Physical ability to transport tools and equipment and perform manual labor as needed..

Good to know:

This is a permanent position on a full-time basis, reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor in Pasadena, TX.
