What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chemical Filling Operator I - First Shift position at Nova Biomedical?
Nova Biomedical is hiring a Chemical Filling Operator I on the First Shift (6 : 45 AM - 3 : 15 PM) in our Waltham, MA facility. The Chemical Filling Operator is responsible for the performing filling, sealing and labeling of various reagents by means of written and / or verbal instruction and recording all pertinent information as required in various assembly procedures and logs. Other responsibilities include :
- Set up per procedure and equipment specification for filling operation
- Operate and monitor filling equipment during filling - load and unload product, assure product is properly filled, sealed, labeled, and quarantined as required
- Documentation - accurate and complete record of filing operation
- Maintenance of filling area and equipment including daily cleaning : cleaning between batches, periodic maintenance and calibration work orders.
Qualifications :
Must be able to perform tasks that may involve for extended periods of time standings, sitting, pushing, pulling, lifting, bending, kneeling, reaching, twisting, turning, climbing steps and carrying up to 40 pounds several times / hours a day.
