What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tubing Assembler I - First Shift position at Nova Biomedical?
Nova Biomedical is hiring a Tubing Assembler on the First Shift (6 : 00 AM - 2 : 30 PM or 7 : 00 AM - 3 : 30 PM) in our Waltham, MA facility. This person is responsible for the processing of the various tubing assemblies for both core and OEM analyzers. Under general supervision, this person will perform routine assembly operations. Must have the ability to work independently and efficiently. Required to manufacture only the highest quality assemblies while meeting manufacturing schedules. Other responsibilities include :
- Ability to work with various adhesives and alcohols during assembly
- Requires a high level of attention to detail through all aspects of the assembly process to produce high product yields
- Must have the ability operate process equipment such as automatic crimp cappers, laser coders, leak testers, automatic tube cutter, crimping devices, heat fixtures / tools and UV adhesive dispensing / curing systems.
- Ability to understand assembly procedures, drawings, verbal instructions and related documentation to assemble various product.
