Position Title: Coordinator - Supply Chain
Job Type: Full-Time – Hourly
Reports To: Supervisor or Manager Job Description Overview:
Independently source and fulfill parts requisitions daily from the Operations Team under the direction of the Supervisor or Manager. This role will be viewed as a more tenured individual with knowledge of natural gas compressors and will help in the development of all less-tenured employees. As time allows, this role will also maintain the warehouse with stocking purchases, staging orders, organizing inventory, assisting in inventory counts, and other duties, as assigned.
Key Responsibilities:
· Ability to receive and process a parts requisition form from Operations and quickly and efficiently fulfill the order (stock or direct source)
· Know how to conduct research with unit build books, external sites, and other sources in order to source parts for Operations
· Independently and effectively conduct item and quantity on hand search within ERP System before submitting requisition to purchase
· Create/track internally approved purchase requisitions for parts, service, or expenses
· Communicate verbally and in writing with the Operations Departments and with suppliers
· Utilize Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word), Google Drive, and the internet
· Demonstrate exceptional organizational and time management skills
· Be able to multi-task and prioritize in a face-paced environment
Qualifications:
· 1-3 years of direct experience sourcing parts for natural gas compressors
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
· Ability to work independently but to ask questions, when necessary
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
· Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work as part of a team Minimum Education and Certification:
· High School diploma or GED equivalent Physical Demands:
