Job Summary
The Cybersecurity Systems Engineer (Level 3) will support the Secure Cloud Computing Architecture (SCCA) Program Management Office (PMO) by delivering technical writing, system documentation, and web development support using Salesforce. This key position facilitates the development of comprehensive cybersecurity documentation and user-facing content for cloud-based DoD systems and services, and plays a vital role in improving communication, transparency, and customer engagement within the SCCA PMO.

This key position facilitates the development of comprehensive cybersecurity documentation and user-facing content for cloud-based DoD systems and services, and plays a vital role in improving communication, transparency, and customer engagement within the SCCA PMO.
- This position is contingent upon contract award*
- Develop white papers with input from technical SMEs to document known issues, recommendations, and workarounds.
- Organize and create user manuals, training materials, installation guides, and technical specifications for cloud capabilities.
- Edit functional descriptions, system specifications, and technical reports for diverse audiences including developers, end users, and leadership.
- Translate complex technical information into clear, readable documents for both technical and non-technical personnel.
- Prepare and maintain operations documentation, user guides, and manuals as well as technical publications.
- Assist in the preparation of customer deliverables and support documentation development across contract requirements.
- Develop Salesforce web pages that capture frequently asked questions and provide self-service information to mission owners.
- Support the creation of workflows within Salesforce to manage customer feedback, automate responses, and generate reports.
- Collaborate with the PMO to ensure webpages address cloud capabilities and mission alignment across multiple vendors.
- Coordinate the layout, formatting, and visual consistency of internal and external documents using standard templates and styles.
- Maintain accuracy and timeliness across all written content, ensuring compliance with DoD cybersecurity and documentation standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Active Secret clearance required!
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Communications, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Certifications Required:
- Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level III certification (e.g., CISSP, CISM).
- At least 10 years of recent relevant experience, with 5 years specifically related to cybersecurity systems engineering or documentation roles.
- Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to explain complex technical topics clearly.
- Experience using Salesforce to develop web interfaces, automate workflows, and create dashboards or reports.
- Familiarity with DoD cybersecurity documentation standards, including RMF and NIST SP 800-53.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in documentation.
- Ability to coordinate across teams, meet deadlines, and deliver polished content in a fast-paced environment.
